1.Pd(II) aktive alken la pa kowòdone ak alken la, ak Lè sa a, se atake pa nukleofil la;
2.Aktivasyon lyezon CH nan idrokarbur aromat, gwoup benzyl ak alyl;
3.Kòm précurseur de Pd(0) reaktif, ba-valent Pd(0) reyaktif ka fòme Pd(II)-aryl, Pd(II)-vinyl, Pd(II) ak gwoup enstore atravè adisyon oksidatif -Allyl entèmedyè, ki aji pou aktive aryl, vinil ak klori alil oswa acetate alyl.
